About Me.
Aniya Demery is a local native of the Washington, DC Metropolitan area. Aniya graduated from Bowie State University, with her undergraduate degree in Business Management. Taking this route has help her establish her long term goal which is not just to “do makeup,” but to create a natural-product makeup line for teenagers who are experiencing low self-esteem due to adolescent acne and other issues. After experiencing bouts with low self-esteem, bullying and overcoming, she also serves as a motivational
and spiritual speaker who always looks forward to reaching those girls and boys, men and women, with low self-esteem to give them hope for their future and direct them toward loving themselves. In the Fall of 2014, Aniya’s vision of providing professional make-up application services came into fruition and Niya-Rose Make-Up Artistry, was started. Aniya’s work has been recognized and supported by many celebrities and well known makeup artists. She has worked alongside DMV's very well known MUA, LegallyBeat on the CD Cover of Stellar Award Runner Up, Charles Butler and Trinity. She also had the opportunity to provide her services to 2019 Sunday’s Best runner up, Tiffany Andrews. Aniya’s expertise extends from serving one on one clients, brides and bridal parties.
Aniya’s long term goal is to “do more than makeup,” but to merge her love of God’s Word and her gift in a way that it effectively transforms the way ladies see themselves from the inside out.

“I booked Niya to do my bridesmaids’ makeup for my wedding on November 10, 2019, and let me just say, she is a professional from start to finish! Niya made sure to coordinate everything (arrival time, payments, schedule everything) with my maid of honor so that I could focus on mentally and spiritually preparing for my big day. Timely, I’ll start there. Niya’s 8:00 am start time meant “all set up with a face in her chair,” not strolling in at 8:00 am. She flowed throughout the morning effortlessly using her gifts while dealing with eight excited girls- going as far as playing DJ to letting us use her phone for “getting ready” pictures! My sister is not the make-up type of individual. She is an athlete and make-up is the last thing on her mind. I gave Aniya explicit instructions on how I wanted my sister's make-up. Thoroughly impressed cannot even describe the feeling I felt when I saw my sister's face. I was overcome with emotion and actually cried when I saw my sister's face. She was absolutely beautiful. A hands-on in-depth class designed to make applying makeup easier and more comprehensive for the everyday woman. The attendee will need to come with a clean face with no makeup and also bring their own personal makeup. (Class duration - Two hours)
“A blossoming Rose” - Artist one on one

An instructional and hands-on class instructing the artist on how to achieve a natural and flawless makeup application for their clients. (Skin preparation, flawless foundation application, eyeshadow application, blending, contouring/highlighting). Recommendation on kit must-haves and social media branding (Class duration 3.5 hours)

A retainer of $25.00 is required when booking ALL services. All retainers are applied towards scheduled services. Should you need to reschedule your date or time, please notify Niya Rose as soon as possible as availability may change.
